Unlike conventional zoos, Cabárceno is not simply a natural park. This space has been created on the 750 hectares of a former mining site, offering a semi-freedom home for almost 120 animal species from five different continents. Here, the priority is for the animals to maintain as natural a life as possible.
The environment of Cabárceno will allow you to walk through large enclosures, where species coexist together. A habitat so extensive that some species may be difficult to see, they are in freedom and can move freely throughout the park!
The park offers two cable car lines that allow you to explore Cabárceno from above with ease. Included in the ticket price, the cable car ride provides a totally different perspective of the park’s enclosures and landscapes.
On Line I, you’ll see elephants, hyenas, watusi and lychee cobos, horses, adax and camels, bison, zebras, lions, yak and lynx.
On Line II you will have breathtaking views of the bear enclosure, zebras, hippos, and Lake Sexta.
